Today I learned the van can still do at least 85. So the damn thing does still have some life in it.

It was a total accident that I even hit those speeds. I was trying to pass a car who was being an asshole and sped up every time I did to go and pass him. Got frustrated and floored it. Look down, speedos climbing past 85. Oops.

Just 115 away from keeping up with this.

I accidentally hit 90 in my Panda overtaking someone, I put my foot to the floor because turbo lag. Then when it spooled I forgot to lift a little. I was shocked when I looked at the speedo. Surprisingly it still felt like it had more to give, probably not much though.

It honestly felt like I could've pegged the speedo at 100 (where it stops) without a problem. It didn't even feel unsteady.

Mine is supposed to be able to hit 99mph. Near 100 would be terrifying in that tiny little thing though, 90 in it was stable but just felt all kinds of wrong.

I saw a grand caravan with a visible wheel wobble on all four wheels. So mine isn't the most dangerous. Up there maybe.

It was surprisingly stable actually.

If by surprisingly stable you mean it didn't spontaneously flip over, I believe you.

Did it top out at 85, or did it feel like it could keep pulling?

Like it didn't shake any more than my mom's Vue does.

And it felt like I could've kept going to possibly 100. Pegging the speedo.

When I was in the 12 passenger Express last week, the only other "car guy" on the trip was like, "yeah, it may seem slow, but it's a V8 so it can probably do 115-120"

"The speedometer only goes up to 100."
